About Us!

My Philosophy...

One of my favorite activities is hiking, especially in the mountains. This summer, my husband and I took a trip to the Canadian Rockies. We did several smaller, shorter hikes, but wanted to do one that was a bit more challenging. After some research, we decided to climb the Iceline Trail in Yoho National Park, located in British Columbia.

When we drove up to the trailhead, I remember looking up a high, rocky face to the left. I asked my husband, "do you think that's where we're going?" It didn't really seem possible at first. It was amazingly high and remote and it was hard to imagine that the trail could lead up that rocky face. Sure enough, that's exactly where it led.

It was a heart-pounding, lung-expanding experience, but worth every ounce of effort that it took. When we got to the very highest point on the trail, we had 360-degree views that were incredible.

Like climbing a mountain, success in any endeavor requires vision, planning, effort, and persistence. These are the elements that build successful businesses, nonprofits, and communities.

Too often, our passion drives us to premature action. Without first defining our vision, and then developing a solid plan to get there, success will forever be a distant dream.

My Background...

I launched Landsverk and Associates, Inc. in 2005 to provide professional consulting services for organizations, communities and businesses with an emphasis on economic development and marketing. For more about the projects I have been involved with, see my PROJECTS page.

Prior to starting Landsverk and Associates, Inc., I was employed by The People Connection, a nonprofit agency with an economic development focus. During my four-year tenure as Director of Operations for The People Connection, the agency saw a 400% increase in number of clients served and a 300% increase in the number of businesses started.

In addition to the personal experience that I bring with me to the table, I am connected to a large network of service providers that supply the talents and abilities any given project needs.
